Vijay Mallya, Indiens führender Whisky-Baron, hat die britische Scotch Whisky Association des kommerziellen „Imperialismus“ beschuldigt und das Indien so behandelt würde, als wäre es immer noch eine britische Kolonie.
Einerseits verlange die SWA niedrigere Importtarife von der indischen Regierung und andererseits würde indischer Whisky nicht als solcher in Großbritannien anerkannt.

Vijay Mallya, India’s leading liquor baron and its very own Sir Richard Branson, has accused the UK’s Scotch Whisky Association (SWA) of commercial „imperialism“ and treating India as if it were still a British colony.
