Edrington Clinches 11 Medals
Scotch whisky group Edrington has won 11 medals, four of them gold, at this year’s International Spirits Challenge.
Gold medals were awarded to Famous Grouse Malt 10 years old, Famous Grouse Scottish Oak and The Macallan Fine Oak 8 years old – all of them launched by the company within the last two years – and the more well-established Highland Park 12 years old.
Bill Farrar, Edrington’s sales and marketing director, commented: „Once again our company’s product innovations have been recognised with some of the highest honours within the drinks industry.
„The fantastic efforts of employees at the group’s 11 sites are testament to these awards.“
Founded in 1995, the International Spirits Challenge attracts a rich and diverse line-up of entries, judged by carefully chosen specialists.
The strength of the ISC lies in its independence and the variety and quality of its tasting panels – encompassing blenders, distillers, importers and journalists.
